Sonata [NF] (2005-2010)
The 5th generation Hyundai Sonata (NF) arrived in the UK in 2005, introducing a more contemporary and globally styled design with cleaner lines and improved aerodynamics. A minor facelift in 2008 updated the front and rear styling, added higher-grade materials inside, and improved engine efficiency. The Mk5 Sonata was sold in the UK until 2010, after which it was effectively replaced by the Hyundai i40 in many European markets, as Hyundai realigned its model strategy.
