For items which are under warranty, any defects in the goods which under proper use appear within a reasonable period after delivery and which are due to faulty materials, workmanship or design will be made good by us either by replacement or refund. Any claim for goods or the defective parts should be returned together with proof of purchase and (if relevant), all complete accessories, instruction manuals and software and, wherever possible, in the original packaging. Any claim for defective goods or parts must be made in writing (specifying the date of purchase and invoice number) within a reasonable period of time after delivery.
If you change your mind: If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 10 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 14 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method.
Fitting & Installation
Audio Tech Direct recommends that you have the item professionally installed by an IMI auto-electrician who specialises in car audio. We cannot accept customer diagnostic as a fault report. Any issues are usually resolved by troubleshooting the problem. All units are tested prior to dispatch and should you run into any installation issues we are here to help.
We are not responsible for installation costs under any circumstance.
We will endeavour to conduct the sale of our items ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction. However, if you develop a problem we will be happy to assist. We offer a 14 day return policy if the goods are not as described or not required any more (as long as the product is still brand new and in a resell-able condition and complete). After 14 days, the product can be repaired under warranty at our UK repair centre. We will be happy to refund the goods minus the cost of delivery. We may charge a handling fee dependant on the product.
All returns must be assigned a RMA number by us and proof of return carriage must be provided to us by email. If you have received a faulty or incorrect item: You must notify us within 14 days of receipt, we will then arrange to replace or repair the unit. This guarantee does not cover effects arising from accidental damage or misuse of the items, and is automatically lost if the item is opened by non-qualified or unauthorised people. Please note that minor issues may be resolved by supplying replacement parts or alternative solutions acceptable to both parties.
We do not cover return postage.
UK Repair Centre
We have a very reliable UK repair centre based in the UK who can repair any of the stereos we offer. They carry a large amount of spare parts and we can forward you the details if your stereo needs a repair after 14 days. We will aim to complete all repairs within a 21 day period and the centre will contact you if there is a delay. This service is great for peace of mind.
The cost of the sending the goods to us is your responsibly and should we receive your item and is found not to be faulty you will be charged a NO FAULT FOUND CHARGE OF £35.00
