MU-X [MK1] (2013-2021)
The Isuzu MU-X Mk1 marked Isuzu’s entry into the competitive seven-seat SUV market. Based on the durable D-Max pickup platform, it was designed in co-operation with General Motors, the MU-X is very closely related to the Chevrolet Trailblazer and Holden Colorado 7, and early models of these cars share the same radios.
It designed and sold for markets in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. It was not officially sold in the UK through Isuzu’s mainstream dealerships.
From 2017, the radio shape changed slightly to have a rounded top with a silver trim surrounding the radio and centre vents. This is important when it comes to choosing the correct fascia trim.
