Cherokee [MK4] (2014-2020)
Built on a Fiat-derived platform, the Jeep Cherokee MK4, known internally as the KL, was launched in the UK in 2014 and marked a major shift in design and positioning. A facelift arrived in 2018, bringing a more conventional front-end design, upgraded infotainment systems, and improved safety tech. The MK4 Cherokee remained on sale in the UK until around 2020, when it was quietly phased out due to slow sales and tightening emissions regulations.
The vehicle is usually fitted with the 5" or 8.4" Uconnect system. On higher end trims, the vehicle was offered with the Alpine® premium audio system with 9 speakers including a subwoofer and amplifier.
