Compass [MK1] (2007-2016)

Based on the Chrysler PM/MK platform shared with the Dodge Caliber, the Jeep Compass Mk1 made its UK debut in 2007, marking Jeep’s entry into the compact crossover segment. Initial UK models received criticism for their dated interior and unrefined drive, prompting a significant facelift in 2011. This update introduced a more traditional Jeep front-end design inspired by the Grand Cherokee. This range was quietly withdrawn from the market by 2015, with production of the Mk1 ending globally in 2016.
