Soul [MK1] (2008-2013)
The Kia Soul Mk1 was launched in 2008, marking Kia’s entry into the compact crossover market with a bold, boxy design aimed at younger buyers. A facelift in 2011 brought updated headlights, a refreshed grille, improved materials, and the introduction of more efficient engines. Production of the Mk1 Soul ended in 2013, paving the way for the second-generation model with enhanced refinement and technology.
Pre-facelift head units were on ISO connection with Mini-ISO for the steering wheel controls. Facelift models used the Kia/Hyundai style plug.
