626 [GF/GW Facelift] (2000-2002)
A facelift arrived in 2000, bringing updated headlights, grille, and interior refinements. Production of the 626 GF/GW ended in 2002, as it was succeeded globally by the Mazda6 (Atenza), marking a new era of more dynamic styling and performance-focused engineering for Mazda’s mid-size offerings.
From 2001 onward this vehicle was fitted with more than one type of ISO. The easiest way to confirm which wiring is required is to remove the factory radio and physically check.
