Mazda3 [MK2] (2008-2013)
The Mazda3 Mk2 (code: BL series) was launched in 2009 as the successor to the popular Mk1 model, and was produced until 2013. It is built on an updated version of the Ford C1 platform. A facelift arrived in 2011.
Radio and infotainment systems in the Mk2 varied by trim and market. Most models came with an AM/FM radio and CD player, with higher trims offering a Bose premium audio system. From 2011 onwards, many versions included Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel audio controls, and a dash-top display for trip information and media—though touchscreen infotainment was still limited compared to later generations.
