Launched in 1998, the MX-5 Mk2 (NB) was a careful evolution of the beloved NA. Mazda retained the formula—lightweight, rear-wheel-drive, simple fun but modernised it with improved refinement, safety, and styling. The pop-up headlights were gone, but the spirit remained intact.
