911 [991] (2012-2016)
The 991 introduced in 2011 for the 2012 model year is an entirely new platform, only the third since the original 911. The 991 is the first 911 to use a predominantly aluminium construction and apart from the reworked PDK transmission, the new 991 is also equipped with an industry-first 7-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle was fitted with either CDR31 radio or the Porsche PCM3.1 system. The audio package was available as standard, Bose or Burmester speaker systems.
