Ibiza [MK2] (1993-1999)
The Ibiza Mk2 (Typ 6K) was the first Ibiza generation fully developed and produced under Volkswagen Group ownership. Its platform variant was based on the Volkswagen Polo 6N and Volkswagen Golf Mk3. We've ended this mark before the facelift as the facelift models had the red backlit LCD screen integrating the controllers for the audio as well as for the electronically automated air-conditioning system, so the radio cannot be changed.
The factory wiring uses an ISO plug. The ISO-12069 lead can be used to switch the permanent and ignition feeds without adjusting the factory loom.
No fascia is required to fit an aftermarket radio. The dash will only fit a single DIN radio.
