Astra [K] (2016-2021)
The seventh generation Astra was launched in September 2015 and sales commenced in 2016. The Astra K is smaller (5cm), and lighter (up to 200kg) compared to Astra J. Although it is smaller on the outside, Opel claims it is bigger on the inside than the previous Astra J.
The Vauxhall Astra K was launched in 2015 and came from factory with three different radios. The main part of the audio system is located in the right hand footwell and wired to the in-dash display/screen.
Due to space restrictions behind the radio the maximum depth of an aftermarket radio is 70mm for both single and double DIN installations.
