S40/V40 [MK1] (1995-2004)
In August 1995, Volvo released its new series, with the intention of calling the cars S4 and F4. However, as Audi had already reserved the "S4" name, Volvo opted to name the range S40 (saloon), and V40 (estate).
This vehicle can be fitted with two different car audio plug types. The easiest way to confirm which is to remove the factory radio and physically check. To remove the radio push in the tabs next to the volume and preset buttons. This will release ring pulls allowing you to remove the radio.
Some models may also be amplified. We would need to see the connections to see if we can retain it.
