MAIN FEATURES

The Recoil 4-Channel Line Output Converter is designed to seamlessly convert speaker-level signals into line-level outputs for use with aftermarket car audio amplifiers. It supports four channels and features a built-in remote turn-on trigger, making it ideal for integrating factory audio systems with high-performance amplifiers.

With Smart Signal Detection & Turn-On Delay, this LOC automatically detects audio signals and generates a +12V remote output to turn on your amplifier. To prevent interruptions during silent passages or between tracks, the remote signal remains active for 60 seconds after the audio signal ceases.

 

SPECIFICATION

 

  • Power Handling: Supports up to 80 watts RMS per channel without overheating.

  • Enhanced Circuitry: Corrects crossover distortion often found in traditional LOCs and provides a clean 6:1 high-to-low level signal reduction.

  • Adjustable Output: High-quality onboard potentiometers allow fine-tuning of output levels for each channel.

  • Remote Trigger Output: Delivers a stable +12V signal rated at 500mA—sufficient for most amplifier triggers or external relays.

  • Fast Trigger Response: Activates the remote output instantly when it detects over 5V DC or a minimal audio signal on the White (Left +) input wire, and turns off after 60 seconds of signal loss.

 

INSTALLATION

 

Installation Guide:

 

Install the LOC on your vehicle’s speaker output wires—either from the stereo head unit or a factory-installed amplifier—rated up to 80 watts per channel.

These connections are typically located behind the dashboard, at the amplifier output, or on the speaker input terminals.
