This harness solves the problem that amplified Audi A3/A4/TT models have no sound or have static noise after installing aftermarket car stereos. Designed for adapting the Audi loom to RCA low input for use with BOSE or Active Sub System. This 40 Pin Quad-lock harness adapter comes with High to Low Impedance Converters. It's for Audi A3/A4/TT models with rear speakers have no sound or have static noise after installing aftermarket car stereos.
The harness is mainly used to eliminate white noise you get when you change the Audi stock radio to an after-market model. It can also be regarded as an extension harness cable. The working principal is: It can isolate input and output circuits to prevent ground loop noise, enhance bass sound.

PLEASE NOTE: Once installed you may need to adjust the amount of impedance required. Plug it all together and play audio on your unit so that you can hear it. If these are set too high to 1 of the 2 sides the impedance converter won't work. By using a small flathead screwdriver turn the 4 knobs in the cases below. Turn the level adjustment down slowly until you are happy with the level and quality of the sound.
