Jaguar X-Type (2001-2009)

The Jaguar X-Type was introduced in the UK in 2001 as Jaguar’s first compact executive saloon. Based on a modified Ford Mondeo platform, it offered all-wheel drive in early models and later introduced front-wheel drive variants, along with estate (Sportwagon) versions from 2004. A mild facelift in 2008 but it wasn’t enough to revive slowing sales. UK production ended in 2009, and the X-Type remains a divisive chapter in Jaguar’s modern history.

The vehicle was fitted with the standard radio option with Standard Audio System or the Alpine Premium Audio System or it was fitted with the Jaguar Navigation System.
