Mazda3 [MK3] (2013-2019)
The Mazda3 Mk3 (code: BM/BN series) debuted in 2013 and was produced until 2019, marking a major shift in design and engineering for Mazda. It was the first Mazda3 built entirely on the company’s Skyactiv platform. A facelift arrived in 2016.
In terms of radio and infotainment, the Mk3 introduced Mazda’s MZD Connect system, which became standard across most trims. This system included a 7-inch dashboard-mounted display, controlled via a rotary knob on the center console, with features like Bluetooth, USB ports, navigation, and optional Bose premium audio.
