The Mercedes-Benz SLK R170 is the first generation of the SLK-Class, produced from 1996 to 2004. It marked Mercedes-Benz’s entry into the compact luxury roadster segment and stood out with its innovative design and technology. The vehicle had a facelift in 2000, which also introduced the SLK 32 AMG as the range-topping performance model.
In the UK, this was largely fitted with the Audio 10 single DIN head unit but the Audio 30 and Audio 50 were other options. If the vehicle was amplified, then it would be using the D2B fibre optic connection into the radio.
