Boxster & Cayman [981] (2012-2016)
The third-generation Boxster (internally known as the 981) was announced in March 2012 with sales starting in early summer 2012. The third generation Cayman was released as a 2014 model in the spring of 2013. The range was expanded in March 2014 with the addition of the GTS derivative.
The vehicle was either fitted with the Porsche CDR3.1 Radio or the PCM3.1 Nav Radio. Both options had the audio packages of standard, Bose or Burmester.
