A3 [8V] (2012-2020)
The 3rd Generation Audi A3 was launched in 2012 and was the first vehicle using the flexible modular Volkswagen Group MQB platform. The vehicle was facelifted in 2016 and ended in 2020 but the only change was the MIB STD was upgraded to MIB1/2 and the screen size increased.
Audio wise, the vehicle was fitted out with the head unit and separate screen above. It was fitted with either the MIB1/2 system as standard, with the exception of the convertible models, which had the RMC system.
