VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY LIST
It is vitally important that you check your AMI/MMI system before purchase as there are various kits for the AUDI range. This retrofit interface enables you to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality on your cars original screen. Retains full original factory functionality and information displayed on the cars screen. Provides full integration with factory controls.
The system uses AUX/AMI as sound output. Please check if your car has an AUX/ AMI port. If it has an AMI port, you will need an AMI to AUX Adapter.
Will only work with models with:
- MMI RMC (Radio Media Centre), which Audi software will start RMC_EU
- Also compatible with MMI 3G
- Supports 5.8" 6.5" & 7" screen sizes
Vehicle fitment (guide only):
- Audi A1 (2014-2018)
- Audi Q3 (2014-2018)
PLEASE NOTE: This interface requires inserting a PCB Board to the original screen and dismantling the original Audi Radio. This should only be carried out by professional car audio technicians!
INSTALL NOTES:
- Vehicle must have the MMI centre console as shown on the images. If you do not have AUX, the vehicle should have AMI. You would need to purchase the AMI cable from us for the sound to work on the interface box.
- A factory audio-AUX input is required. On some head-units it is already activated. If not, it is necessary to code the head-unit to audio-AUX by diagnosis computer
