If your Toyota comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
PLEASE NOTE: Some imported Toyota cars from Japan may come with a different factory fitted reversing camera plug. Please ensure the factory fitted reversing camera has the 4 pin alignment (please see pictures).

VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY LIST
The reverse signal to trigger the new head unit to switch over to the reverse camera is not on this interface. On most models this is usually found on a blue and black wire on a separate, small five pin plug.

- Toyota Prius [MK3] (2003-2015)
