If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this carry through harness is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
Rear view camera adapters are required to maintain the OEM rear view camera. These allow the connection of a factory pre-equipped camera to an aftermarket device with camera input. It's really that easy and all you get is a neat installation.
