If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
The product is a reversing camera retention lead specially designed for Toyota models (For specific models please view Vehicle Applications). This easy to install product allows users to retain the use of the factory installed camera system when installing an aftermarket head unit to their vehicle. It's really that easy and all you get is a neat installation.
Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the adapter provides the video signal RCA, a power supply +6V/ground for the OEM camera and the +12V revere gerar signal or this must be connected in the vehicle. Vehicles with a 360° camera system or systems with moving distance lines may not be compatible. Before installation check the correct assignment of the adapter to the OEM connector.

Toyota factory cameras can be on various plug types. So before installation check the correct assignment of the adapter to the OEM connector. This adaptor is for models with the 16 pin camera connection type.

Works with Yaris with one alteration
I can confirm that this does work on a 2013 yaris oem camera and steps down the voltage from the headunit from 12v to 5v as required. However, the + and - out in the socket (blue and orange) appear to the the wrong way around (at least for a yaris) and so needed swapping over.
