If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
The product is a reversing camera retention lead specially designed for use on specific Hyundai models. This easy to install plug and play system allows users to retain the use of the factory installed camera system when installing an aftermarket head unit to their vehicle. Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the adapter provides the Cinch video signal, a +6V/ground power supply for the OEM camera and the reversing signal.
