This adapter is required when replacing your factory fitted radio with an aftermarket radio. It will convert the original vehicle power & speaker wiring connectors to a standard ISO connector.

This Harness has a loose fly wire (RED), this needs to be connected to an ignition power supply. The original radio in the car is turned on via a CAN BUS data signal so there is no ignition power supply in the vehicle's original connector, hence why a manual connection for the ignition live is required
