This aftermarket 3.5mm AUX audio adapter cable is designed for Audi AMI/MMI and VW/Skoda/SEAT MDI systems, allowing you to play music from your device directly through your vehicle’s factory stereo. Simply connect your iPod, iPhone, smartphone, MP3 player, or any other device with a 3.5mm headphone jack to the car’s infotainment system using this cable. Once connected, press the MEDIA button on your MMI controller to start playback. Please note that this cable only transmits audio. It does not support device control through the car’s interface or steering wheel, and track or album information will not be displayed on the screen. It also does not support charging or data transfer. This is a simple, effective solution for enjoying your personal music library while on the road.
Note: You have to activate the AUX mode in the MMI system in order to use this product. You can only change songs from the smartphone, no control over music from the MMI system. The playlist will not be displayed on the screen, control the device and charge the device.
