This product includes one high-quality aftermarket Audi Music Interface (AMI)/Volkswagen MDI Media-In USB 2.0 Adapter Cable, designed to connect your vehicle’s factory infotainment system to a USB flash drive or compatible USB device. The Audi AMI system delivers advanced integration with external electronics, and this cable allows seamless audio playback from MP3 players, smartphones, tablets, and portable USB hard drives directly through your car’s stereo.
Once connected, supported devices can be operated via the MMI interface and multi-function steering wheel for convenient control on the go. Please note: this cable transmits audio signals only, track names or media information will not be displayed on the MMI screen.
This is an aftermarket replacement for Audi part numbers 4F0051510P, 4F0051510Q, 4F0051510H, 4F0051510B, and 4F0051510G. For compatibility, please refer to your vehicle’s owner manual or consult your local dealer to confirm the required AMI/MMI part number.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is for playing USB memory sticks. It will not allow you to plug an iPhone for data sync. Another cable is used for iPhone music playing.

MDI to USB interface cable
This works extremely well in my 2012 bentley continental gt - the mdi interface is the same as in high-end audis and vws. many thanks for an excellent product.
