MAIN FEATURES
This Harness Extension Kit is used to retrofit vehicles with an OEM Mercedes Audio Gateway (AGW) to a universal aftermarket head unit. It allows you to relocate the connector of the OEM head unit (Audio Gateway) from the trunk of the car back into the dashboard where the aftermarket radio will be located.
The complete pinning of the Extension Harness is including CAN-Bus wires and the antenna remote wire to make it easy to retrofit the head unit by using the original steering wheel remote control functions (if OEM equipped).
Retention of the OEM subwoofers (if OEM equipped) can be achieved. You can either wire the white cables for the sub-woofer to be piggy-backed into the rear speaker channels or you can fit a new amplifier to power just the subwoofer by itself. The recommendation is to fit a new amplifier for the sub and with this in mind, the wiring has prepared RCA and amplifier remote cables into the loom for simple transfer.
The extension/adaptor cable is prepared for ISO and CANBUS is connected from the CAN-rail. If fitting an Android unit, you would need one of our ARL-63xxx looms or if fitting a branded unit (Kenwood, Alpine, Sony, Pioneer etc) then you would want to add the fitting stalk adapter/ steering wheel remote control to this

Not compatible with the Harman Kardon (MOST) Sound System as the plug socket is different. However, you could remove the plug and tap into the wires as a solution.

Wirings harness
Very good.however it would have been helpful to have some instructions as not all the wiring is straight forward. I would recommend this product.
