Facia Adaptors convert the aperture left after removing the original manufacturer's head unit to suit the standard DIN or Double DIN sizes used by the majority of aftermarket head unit manufacturers, whilst retaining the original visual appearance of the dashboard.

What Does DIN Mean? Head units generally come in either Single DIN or Double DIN size. The depth is not standardised.

• Single DIN (Otherwise known as 1-DIN) has the size of 182mm Width by 53mm Height
• Double DIN (Otherwise know as 2-DIN) has the size of 173mm Width by 98mm Height

IMPORTANT NOTE: It's important to know the size of your head unit when choosing a fascia. Most branded units such as Pioneer, Alpine, Sony, JVC, Kenwood, Panasonic etc use the standard 173mm by 98mm Double DIN fitment. However, many non-branded head units are 178mm by 100mm (typical units with a bigger screen than 6.2"). If you have a unit with the larger Double DIN fitment, you may require a different part.
