This retrofit interface enables you to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality on your cars original screen. Retains full original factory functions and information displayed on the cars screen. Provides full integration with factory controls. The kit utilises the AUX pin on the head unit, this requires you to have “AUX” as an input in the SOUND menu. In all COMAND NTG4.5 head units the AUX input can be enabled in the engineering menu. On some AUDIO20 head units (found in A class and B Class) you will have to activate aux or use a MERCEDES MEDIA-AUX lead.
Will only work with models with:
- Mercedes models with NTG4.5 system
- Mercedes models with NTG4.7 system
- Mercedes must have an activated AUX port
