NOTE:
There are two versions of this patch lead, the difference is the pinning of the red and white wires to the tip and ring of the jack lead.
Version 1 has standard wiring, the white wire is the tip, the red wire is the ring.
Version 2 has different wiring, the white wire is the ring, the red wire is the tip.
The version 2 cable can be identified as it will have a "Version 2" label in the jack lead. Version 1 cables will not have this.
