The ASE 165 kit is equipped with a 16.5 cm woofer with Polypropylene cone and an adjustable inverted-dome tweeter. With its high power handling, it delivers balanced, lively sound, clean highs and an enhanced soundstage. Like all Auditor kits, it's ideal for a first Focal installation or for upgrading your original system.
ASE 165 S can be combined with external or factory amplification. The tweeters are surface-mounted in the windshield pillars, or can be positioned in the original slots. Polypropylene for the woofers, mylar for the tweeter: the materials chosen by Focal for the loudspeaker diaphragms are the source of hi-fi quality sound. The central ogive of the woofers enhances off-axis listening.
Developed in France by Focal, ASE 165 S stands out for its shallow mounting depth (just 4.8 cm), which makes it easy to install in car doors. Sturdy loudspeaker bowls guarantee long life.
