The European Mk2 Ford Ka (B420) was replaced with a model developed and produced for Ford by Fiat in conjunction with Fiat's own 500 vehicle. The second-generation Ka has an overall Euro NCAP safety rating of four stars.

The factory wiring uses an ISO plug but It is built on a CAN bus system with CAN+ and CAN- instead of ACC into the ISO block.

The dash will only fit a single DIN radio.
