The Ford S-Max (The first generation CD340) is a mid-size MPV that was produced by Ford Europe for the European market. For the English speaking markets there are three derivatives of the S-Max: Edge, Zetec, and the high-end Titanium. 

Vehicles can be based on a resistive or CAN protocol. The easiest way to confirm is to remove the factory radio and check if the harness has a 12v ignition feed included.

Titanium and Titanium X vehicles have an additional screen in the instrument cluster called Convers+. The screen functionality is lost when the factory radio is removed.
