The Hyundai i10 Mk2 launched in the UK in January 2014, building on the success of its predecessor with a more refined design, increased interior space, and improved driving dynamics. Unlike the Mk1, the Mk2 was designed and engineered in Europe, with production based in Turkey, helping it better suit European tastes.  facelift in early 2017 brought subtle exterior tweaks, an updated infotainment system with optional touchscreen and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and enhanced safety features. The Mk2 remained on sale until early 2020.
