The Jaguar XK8 Coupe, along with the performance-focused XKR Coupe, was introduced in 1996 as a stylish and modern successor to the XJS. A facelift in 2002 brought revised exterior styling, updated interiors, and larger 4.2-litre engines. Production of the XK8 and XKR Coupes continued until 2006, when they were replaced by the aluminium-bodied XK (X150).
This vehicle was fitted with a standard audio package or a Jaguar Premium Sound System, developed in partnership with Alpine.
