Jeep Cherokee [MK1] (1984-2001)
The Jeep Cherokee MK1, also known as the XJ, was introduced in 1984 and marked a revolutionary step in SUV design with its unibody construction, which combined car-like handling with off-road capability. A major facelift arrived in 1997, bringing a more refined interior, updated exterior styling, and improved equipment levels to suit evolving UK tastes. The MK1 Cherokee remained on sale in the UK until 2001, after which it was succeeded by the KJ model.
The dash will only fit a single DIN radio. Some vehicles are fitted with an amplified factory system (there will be front door tweeters or rear speakers in the hood lining).
