Kia Carens [MK1] (2000-2006)

The Kia Carens Mk1 (codename RS/FJ) was introduced in the UK in 2000, marking Kia's entry into the compact MPV segment built on the Sephia platform. A facelift arrived in 2002, bringing updated bumpers, a restyled grille, and some interior refinements. The Mk1 remained on sale in the UK until 2006, when it was replaced by the more refined second-generation model.

When it comes to radio fitment, early UK-spec models were typically equipped with a single-DIN Kia-branded AM/FM radio with cassette, while post-facelift models (from 2002) usually featured a CD player as standard.
