The Kia Carens Mk2 (UN) landed in UK showrooms in August 2006, replacing the original with a more spacious, family‑friendly compact MPV. Although there was no major mid-cycle facelift like its successor, the 2009–2010 engine additions brought mild interior updates. Production wound down around late 2012 to early 2013, soon replaced by Mk3.
