The Kia Cee’d Mk2 (JD), the second generation was launched in the UK in June 2012 as a 5‑door hatchback, with the wagon variant (Sportswagon) following in September 2012. A mid‑cycle refresh arrived in October 2015. The Mk2 Cee’d’s production run ended in June 2018, making way for the all-new Mk3 launched that same month.
