The Kia Pro_Cee’d Mk2 was launched in 2013, showcasing a more refined and dynamic design that aligned with Kia’s evolving brand identity under chief designer Peter Schreyer. The Mk2 received a facelift in 2015, which included subtle exterior tweaks, updated infotainment options, and revised engines for better efficiency. Production of the Mk2 Pro_Cee’d concluded in 2018, as Kia shifted focus toward the shooting brake-style Proceed in the next generation.

The wiring changed in 2016 with the introduction of SD navigation units.
