The fourth-generation Kia Rio launched in the UK in 2017. Built on an all-new platform, it came exclusively as a five-door hatchback. A facelift in 2020 introduced a mild-hybrid 1.0 T-GDi engine, updated infotainment with a larger touchscreen, and minor design tweaks. Despite its strong value, the Rio Mk4 was discontinued in the UK in 2023 due to shifting consumer demand toward crossovers like the Kia Stonic and the brand’s expanding electrified lineup.

The vehicle was fitted with either the standard radio or the navigation radio system.
