The first-generation Range Rover Sport (L320) debuted in the UK in 2005, built on a modified Discovery 3 platform (T5 chassis) with a focus on on-road performance while maintaining off-road ability. Pre-facelift models were sold from 2005 to 2009.

There were a few variations of the radio as some offered a top Denso Navigation v1 (GVIF based) screen. Sound packages came from Harman/Kardon and Harman/Kardon Logic7.
