The Range Rover Sport L494 was produced from 2013 to 2022, marking the second generation of the model. Built on Jaguar Land Rover’s lightweight aluminum architecture (shared with the Range Rover L405), the L494 was significantly lighter and more agile than its predecessor. A major facelift arrived in late 2017 for the 2018 model year. 

Audio systems during the L494’s life ranged from base units to Meridian-branded sound systems, including Meridian Surround and Meridian Signature Reference in higher trims.
