The 2010–2012 Range Rover L322 represented the peak of the third-generation model, bringing the most substantial updates to date in performance, technology, and design. Though it retained the same core body structure, this final iteration had a more modern and upscale feel, both inside and out.

By the time the 2010 model was released, Tata Motors had acquired Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) from Ford in mid-2008. However, many of the core technologies were Ford-era carryovers, engineered in collaboration with Jaguar. It marked the end of an era before the all-aluminum L405 replaced it in 2013.
