The Lexus LS 460 and LS 600h L (hybrid) represented a major shift for Lexus when the Mk4 LS launched. Built on a brand-new platform with rear- or all-wheel drive, this was the first LS to offer a hybrid powertrain, long-wheelbase variant, and an 8-speed automatic (world’s first at launch). It emphasized advanced tech, performance, and refinement.

The vehicle had a facelift in 2012. Pre-facelift models were fitted with the Gen5 navigation system. Facelift models changed over to the Gen8 with a 12.3" screen.
