The Mazda5 (CR), introduced in 2005, was the second generation of Mazda's compact MPV. Known for its sliding rear doors, 6- or 7-seat configurations (depending on market), and compact footprint, the CR continued the practicality and flexibility that defined the first-generation Mazda5. A facelift arrived in 2008.

The dash will fit a single or double DIN radio. Audio systems came in standard audio or the Bose premium sound.
