The Mercedes-Benz A-Class W177 has been in production since 2018, representing the fourth generation of the A-Class. It was officially launched in May 2018 and introduced a more mature design, a longer wheelbase, and advanced technology features, including the debut of the 7" or 10.25" MBUX infotainment system.

A facelift was unveiled in 2022, featuring updated front and rear styling, improved interior materials, and upgraded driver-assistance systems. As of mid-2025, the W177 remains in production, continuing to serve as a core model in Mercedes-Benz's compact lineup.
