Mercedes C-Class [W202] (1993-2000)
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class W202 was the first generation of the C-Class, produced from 1993 to 2000 (sedan) and until 2001 for the station wagon. It replaced the 190E (W201) and was succeeded by the W203. In 1996, it received a facelift with subtle exterior updates like revised bumpers, darker taillights, and improved trim, along with the introduction of supercharged "Kompressor" models.
Radio systems ranged from basic AM/FM cassette units (like the Audio 10 CC) to more advanced CD and navigation options (Audio 30 and Audio 30 APS) in later years.
The factory wiring uses an ISO plug. No fascia is required to fit an aftermarket radio as it is single DIN.
Some vehicles are fitted with a factory BOSE system. These require a BOSE specific ISO lead (InCarTec 20-273).
